This trek begins at the mountain airstrip at Lukla 35min flight from Kathmandu. Our destination is the high altitude lakes of Gokyo at over 4,200m. Less frequented than the Everest Base Camp route the trek provides some tremendous high altitude trekking and a visit to the second largest glacier in the World. From the top of Gokyo Ri 5,357m there are spectacular 360 degree mountain views of four 8,000m including Mt. Everest. We return to Lukla and our flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Day 04: Trek to Namche
Day 05: Acclimatize day
Day 06: Trek to Phortse Thanga
Day 07: Trek to Dole
Day 08: Trek to Macharmo
Day 09: Trek to Gokyo
Day 10: Climb to Gokyo Ri and excursion around lake
Day 11: Trek to Dole
Day 12: Trek to Namche
Day 13: Trek to Lukla
Day 14: Fly to KTM
Day 15: KTM city tour
Day 16: Departure
Airport pickup and drop (All land vehicles).
