We fly to Lukla and begin trekking through the land of the legendary Sherpas into Sagarmatha National Park. Since the successful ascent of Everest, the Khumbu region has enjoyed international attention. We will follow the footsteps of Tenzing Norgey, Edmund Hillary, Messner and Bonnington. We follow the classic trail to Namche Bazar, Tyangboche, Dingboche, Dugla, Lobuche, Everest Base Camp and go on Kalapathar. From Lukla the trail follows the Dudh koshi river crossing Thado koshi and Dudhkoshi river arrive Phakding. Crossing and recossing several times on high suspension bridges and passing through the Sagarmatha National Park Gate we will arrive to Namche bazaar known as Sherpa capital. Tyangboche to Pangboche the trail raises through the meadows where yaks graze. After touring the monastery we set out and cross the Imja river we arrive to Dingboche. Passing through summer huts and crossing the Lobuche river we arrive to Lobuche. After crossing the moraines of the Changri Shar Glacier, we reach to sandy plain of Gorokshep. After lifetime experience of visiting Everest Base Camp, then we climb up amongst large boulders to the broad summit of Kalapathar (5,545m), which offers the best view of Everest and Khumbu Glacier.
Whether it may be called Everest, Chomolongma or Sagarmantha, the highest peak of this planet is stunning to behold. The trek will end at Lukla and fly out to Kathmandu.
