Amadablam (22,501 feet/6,858 meters) is one of the most spectacular mountains in the world. From the summit, there is a stunning panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu and this unforgettable climb involves a technical rock, snow and ice climbing and you should be proficient at ascending and descending fixed lines. Part of the climb is 5th class rock with a move or two of 5.7 that requires climbing rock with mountaineering boots.


Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and final preparation

Day 03: Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding

Day 04: Trek to Namche

Day 05: Rest day in Namche. Day hike to Khumjung.

Day 06: Trek to Phortse

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche

Day 08: Rest day in Dingboche. Day hike to Chukkung Ri.

Day 09: Trek to Amadablam base camp

Day 10: Base camp preparation.

Day 11-26: Amadablam climbing period

Day 27: Trek from Base camp to Deboche

Day 28: Trek to Namche

Day 29: Trek to Phakding

Day 30: Trek to Lukla

Day 31: Flight to Kathmandu

Day 31: Rest day in Kathmandu

Day 32: Return back to your country.


Mountain safety:
Mountain safety is our number one priority at climb High. We will maintain a continual communication with base camp through radios. Climb High will also provide you with Gamo bag (Portable Altitude Chamber bag) and oxygen in case of any emergency (for medical purpose only). Our Amadablam Expedition is supported by strong and experienced Sherpa's who have been on Amadablam several times. Our Experienced guide and Sherpa's will, stock camps, fix ropes and provide support for the climb. This enables you to carry lighter weight and save your strength when you go for the summit bid. Climb High's support, equipment and service are high quality in order to give you an outstanding chance to summit.

Our objectives:
Our main objective is to help you summit Dhaulagiri safely and at the same time enjoy it also. In order to achieve our goal, we will ensure you that you are properly prepared for the summit bid. On your request Climb High run's a variety of mountaineering courses as a Dhaulagiri training program to prepare clients for the Dhaulagiri climb and we will take you to the summit of one of the high altitude peaks in the Annapurna region as a training peak.

It is also important to acclimatize properly to avoid altitude problems and to keep yourself healthy and fit. Climb High will make sure that you are properly acclimatized before you reach the base camp. We will start our acclimatization process to our highest acclimatization camp which is Camp 3 and from here we will make our attempt to summit Dhaulagiri.

Food:

Our food for the mountain is well prepared by our special trained cooks in order to give you the best balanced diet of fruit, green vegetables and lot's of carbohydrates and proteins. Our cooks have undergone cooking trainings and can prepare you any food even at such high altitudes, which will really amaze you. We also make sure that they are prepared hygienically as we don't want any one of our clients to feel sick. In addition there will be plenty of hot drinks, soups, tea and biscuits to eat.
